Hooked up with Shane and the guys from Xtreme Image
in Ocala, FL and had a booth set up at the annual Jeeptoberfest
'07. I brought out 2 of my airbrushed Jeeps for display. We had
lots of giveaways and a raffle - plus lots of candy for the kids.
I am sure the parents were happy with us later in the day - SUGAR
RUSH!
This had to be by far the largest
Jeeptoberfest I have ever been too. Every year the Ocala Jeep Club
has raised the bar to make this a bigger and better event. I remember
when I went to my first event held at the local Jeep dealership
in Ocala with maybe 30 some jeeps attending. Then they moved the
event to a local brake shop with maybe 100 or so jeeps. Now they
have gotten so huge that they moved the event to the Ocala Speedway.
As soon as I have a better amount of jeeps attending, I will get
them posted. I was impressed of how many national (and local)
vendors came to set up for the event. I met people from Miami,
Tampa, Jacksonville, Alabama and as far away as North Carolina
to attend the event.
